About Us
Social Equity and diversity are the foundational reasons for why the Social Garden was founded. We believe that people of color should have the opportunity to participate and benefit in a now legal business that has incarcerated so many men and women and have destroyed countless families emotionally, mentally, and physically. We aim to be a pillar of what happens when you give people from low socio-economic backgrounds the ability to participate in a life changing industry.
We want to be a pillar by our presence in the community by changing the many narratives and stereotypes around recreational marijuana use. Recreational Marijuana has been used to treat many medical and mental issues in our communities and is often found to be the healthier alternative. It is our daily mission to make recreational marijuana use more acceptable across people of different backgrounds.
